Doha, April 13 (QNA) - President of the Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation (QMMF) and Lusail International Circuit Abdulrahman bin Abdullatif Al Mannai considered that the great success of the MotoGP Grand Prix of Qatar strengthens its position, as well as that of the State of Qatar, as a leading destination for international sporting competitions.

The Lusail International Circuit hosted the 2025 MotoGP Qatar Airways Grand Prix of Qatar over three days, the fourth round of the 76th edition of the 2025 MotoGP World Championship.

In a press statement, Al Mannai said: "As we conclude the MotoGP weekend at LIC, we are truly delighted to have hosted world-class motorsport action for fans in Qatar and the region.

The success of this event further cements Qatar's position as a premier destination for international sporting competitions.

With the track brimming with action from feeder series to the main Grand Prix, hosting such events not only builds on Qatar's rich sporting legacy but also inspires future generations.

Our goal is to continue establishing LIC as one of the world's most recognizable motorsports venues, and we look forward to welcoming more international events throughout the year.

"In turn, CEO of Lusail International Circuit said: "We are immensely proud to have hosted another successful edition of MotoGP Qatar Airways Grand Prix of Qatar.

The level of competition we witnessed this weekend has been extraordinary, with some of the closest finishes in recent memory.

Our state-of-the-art facilities have once again provided the perfect stage for these incredible riders to showcase their talents.

The enthusiasm from fans has been overwhelming, and we're delighted to have delivered an unforgettable experience both on and off the track.

"The 2025 MotoGP Qatar Airways Grand Prix of Qatar concluded with an exhilarating day of racing action at the Lusail International Circuit, drawing a total of 50,321 attendees across the three-day event.

The attendance on the first day of the tournament was 10,526 spectators, while on the second day, it was 17,230 spectators, and the attendance reached its peak on the third and final day of the tournament, with the number of spectators reaching 22,565.
