Doha, March 30 (QNA) - For the third consecutive year, tens of thousands of worshippers from diverse backgrounds and age groups gathered at Education City Stadium, part of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science, and Community Development, to perform Eid Al-Fitr prayers.

The Minaretein Center at the Education City Mosque, in collaboration with the Ministry of Endowments (Awqaf) and Islamic Affairs, organized the religious event, ensuring a smooth and spiritually enriching experience for attendees. Following the prayers, an Eid festival was held, featuring a variety of activities that fostered a joyful and festive atmosphere.

Project Manager at the Minaretein Center, Wasif Ali Khan highlighted the significance of the gathering, stating: "Education City Stadium serves as a symbol of unity, bringing together thousands of worshippers to mark the end of the holy month of Ramadan. This remarkable congregation reflects the strength of our faith and the deep bonds that unite our community." He also emphasized that the Eid festival following the prayers added to the celebratory spirit, as families and individuals came together to share moments of joy and togetherness.

By organizing these events, the Minaretein Center not only commemorates Eid Al-Fitr but also reinforces its mission of fostering an inclusive society built on values of tolerance, community engagement, and shared religious heritage.

Education City Stadium has become a permanent venue for Eid prayers, thanks to its vast capacity. Its role as a host for FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 matches has further cemented its status as a prominent landmark in the country, seamlessly blending spiritual, cultural, and sporting significance.
