Doha, December 09 (QNA) - The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) and in partnership with Scale AI, announced the launch of the Personalized National Learning Platform.
This pioneering national initiative aims to employ artificial intelligence technologies to develop the educational system and enhance the learning experience in public schools.
The announcement came during the Global Artificial Intelligence Summit, Qatar 2025, where the project was highlighted as one of the innovative AI initiatives in the education sector, due to its expected role in enhancing the quality of educational outcomes and providing a more flexible and adaptive learning experience tailored to students' needs.
The new platform aims to analyze educational data and deliver personalized content that enhances students' capabilities and contributes to improving achievement levels. It also provides teachers with smart tools to support assessment, planning, and follow-up processes, thereby increasing the efficiency of the educational process and enabling data-driven educational decisions.
MCIT's Director of the Digital Innovation Department Iman Al Kuwari stated that the project represents an important step in the digital transformation journey of the education sector.
She added that the launch of the personalized national learning platform reflects a commitment to achieving the goals of the Digital Agenda 2030 by integrating AI technologies into education to promote innovation and build advanced human capabilities.
She noted that this step represents a qualitative leap toward a smart educational system that supports digital transformation and provides a more flexible and adaptive learning experience for students and teachers.
For her part, MOEHE's Director of the E-Learning and Digital Solutions Department Kholoud Al Mannai highlighted the importance of the platform in developing the educational environment. It offers an innovative approach to personalized learning that allows each student to receive an educational experience tailored to their abilities and learning style, thereby improving performance and increasing classroom engagement.
She added that this initiative not only aims to develop the educational environment but also aligns with the goals of the Third National Development Strategy and Qatar National Vision 2030, which emphasize building a knowledge-based society, enhancing human capital, and employing modern technologies to improve education quality, thereby preparing a generation capable of participating and competing in the knowledge-based digital economy.
This initiative comes as part of a comprehensive national approach to accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence in vital sectors, build advanced digital capabilities, and support the achievement of Qatar National Vision 2030 goals in building a knowledge- and innovation-based economy.
