Doha, December 09 (QNA) - Jordan's national football team defeated Egypt 3-0 on Tuesday at Al Bayt Stadium in the final round of Group C play at the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025.
Mohammad Abuhasheesh opened the scoring in the 19th minute, followed by Mohammad Abuzraiq in the 41st. Ali Olwan converted a penalty in stoppage time (90+2), sealing Jordan's third consecutive victory and a flawless group-stage record.
Egypt, meanwhile, exited the tournament after finishing with just two points, placing third in the group. The United Arab Emirates advanced as runner-up with four points, after beating Kuwait 3-1 in a match played simultaneously. (QNA)
