Saudi Economy Grows 4.8% in Q3 2025
Riyadh, December 08 (QNA) - Saudi Arabia's real gross domestic product (GDP) achieved growth of 4.8 percent in the third quarter of 2025 compared to the same period in 2024, supported by growth in all major economic activities.
The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported, citing the General Authority for Statistics, that oil activities grew by 8.3 percent, non-oil activities recorded growth of 4.3 percent, and government activities achieved growth of 1.4 percent year-on-year.
The results showed that seasonally adjusted real GDP grew by 1.4 percent compared to the second quarter of 2025, while oil activities recorded growth of 3.3 percent, non-oil activities grew by 0.6 percent, and government activities achieved growth of 1.1 percent on a quarterly basis.
It is noted that most economic activities achieved positive growth rates year-on-year, with oil refining activities recording the highest growth rates during the third quarter of 2025, reaching 11.9 percent year-on-year and 3.9 percent on a quarterly basis. (QNA)
