Kuwait's Inflation Rose by 2.39 Percent Year-on-Year in August
Kuwait, December 07 (QNA) - Data from the Central Statistical Bureau of Kuwait showed that the consumer price index (CPI), a measure of inflation, rose 2.39 percent year-on-year at the end of August.
In a statement published Sunday, the bureau said the inflation rate in the country increased by 0.07 percent month-on-month in August compared to July.
The year-on-year increase in inflation was attributed to price increases in key categories that influence the CPI, particularly food, healthcare, clothing, and education, excluding transportation. (QNA)
