Doha, December 06 (QNA) - HE Lebanon's Minister of Information Dr. Paul Morcos praised the valuable initiatives that the State of Qatar consistently launches across various fields, noting that all eyes remain fixed on Doha as it works to achieve the desired stability in the region, enhance regional cooperation, and strengthen investment.
In exclusive remarks to Qatar News Agency (QNA) on the sidelines of Doha Forum 2025, His Excellency commended the Forum's objectives and activities, its achievements throughout previous editions, and its anticipated role in upholding the supremacy of justice over force, reinforcing Arab solidarity, and supporting joint Arab action, an area in which Qatar plays a key role.
His Excellency also expressed appreciation for Qatar's substantial support and assistance to Lebanon and its people, affirming that Lebanon, its leadership and citizens, holds deep respect and gratitude for the leadership and people of Qatar, who have stood by Lebanon at all times, especially amid the challenges it currently faces.
He stressed that Lebanon always looks forward to Qatar's continued role and strengthened engagement in this regard.
He added that Lebanon, under the directives of HE President Joseph Aoun and HE Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, welcomes Qatari, Gulf, and Arab investments, which serve mutual interests and shared benefits.
He noted that the Lebanese government continually works to provide new investment opportunities for businessmen and investors, remaining open to fresh ideas that enhance cooperation and investment, particularly as Lebanon is now entering a phase of recovery and stability.
HE the Minister talked about the significant steps taken by the Lebanese government on the path toward reform and stability, emphasizing optimism for a prosperous future and sustainable stability, starting from southern Lebanon, which continues to suffer from Israeli aggression and occupation.
He expressed hope that these difficulties will soon be overcome, paving the way for reconstruction, supported by the government's efforts despite ongoing challenges. (QNA)
