Doha, December 27 (QNA) - Al Wakrah took on Qatar SC by three sets to one in their clash Saturday, as part of the First Division of the Qatar Men's General Volleyball League for the 2025-2026 season.

All matches were held at the Qatar Volleyball Association Hall, featuring 10 competing clubs.

Al Wakrah clinched the match with set scores of 24-26, 25-19, 25-22, and 25-23, maintaining their top position in the league standings with 22 points, seven points clear of Police SC, who occupy second place. Meanwhile, Qatar SC remains fifth with 12 points.

In another contest, Al Gharafa achieved their first victory of the season, defeating Al Shamal three sets to one. The set results were 26-24, 25-21, 22-25, and 25-16.

This triumph propelled Al Gharafa to ninth place, just above Al Sadd, who sit tenth with three points. Al Shamal, meanwhile, remain eighth with six points.

On Sunday, a single match is scheduled between Al Sadd, last in the standings with no points, and Al Khor, positioned seventh with eight points. (QNA)
