Qatar Condemns Explosion Targeting Mosque in Syria's Homs

Doha, December 26 (QNA) - The State of Qatar expressed its condemnation and denunciation of the terrorist bombing that targeted a mosque in the city of Homs in the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic, which resulted in deaths and injuries. The State of Qatar also affirmed its full solidarity with the Syrian government in all the measures it would take to maintain security.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed, in a statement today, the State of Qatar's firm position rejecting violence, terrorism, and criminal acts regardless of the motives. The Ministry also stressed its firm rejection of any targeting of houses of worship and terrorizing of innocent people.

The Ministry expressed the State of Qatar's condolences to the families of the victims as well as the government and people of Syria, wishing the injured a speedy recovery. (QNA)
