Doha, December 26 (QNA) - Al Gharafa coach Pedro Martins Al Shahania assistant coach Pejman Montazeri spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League Week 11 match, slated for Saturday.

"The focus during the break has been on restoring the players' physical fitness. Current training indicators are reassuring, with all players in good physical condition," said Martins.

"The coaching staff has begun preparations for the Al Shahania match, with some uncertainty surrounding the participation of Olympic team players. I hope that they would be included in the squad, given their contribution to the team. There is a need for seriousness and focus, there are no easy matches in the league," he added.

For his part, Montazeri said: "We must realize that our position in the standings requires us to give our all to achieve results. We must play every match like a cup final and work extremely hard to secure the three points."

"The return of injured players strengthens the squad before facing Al Gharafa, a tough encounter against a strong and well-organized opponents," he added.

"I am happy with the players' performance. We have better potential and I will give the team everything I have to achieve the results we need, " said Montazeri. (QNA)
