Egyptian, Dutch Foreign Ministers Discuss Gaza Developments by Phone
Cairo, December 02 (QNA) - Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty and his Dutch counterpart, David van Weel, discussed on Tuesday via phone the situation in Gaza and bilateral relations.
During the call, Abdelatty reiterated the importance of fully implementing the Sharm El Sheikh peace agreement and consolidating the cease-fire. He also stressed moving forward with UN Security Council Resolution 2,803 on Gaza, including the deployment of an international stabilization force and support for reconstruction efforts.
The Egyptian foreign minister underscored the need to ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid to ease the suffering of Palestinians, expressing his country's hope for active Dutch participation in the upcoming international conference on early recovery and Gaza reconstruction, which Egypt will host.
