Kyiv, December 15 (QNA) A person was killed Monday in a Russian drone attack in the Sumy Oblast of Ukraine.

Sumy Governor Oleh Hryhorov stated that due to the activity of Russian drones in the area, it was impossible to provide immediate assistance, adding that the man died at the scene, Ukrainian news agency (Ukrinform) reported.

Since the start of the conflict in February 2022, Russia and Ukraine have exchanged almost daily claims of shooting down drones. However, verifying these claims is difficult due to the ongoing war, which has made access to the affected areas challenging. (QNA)
