Doha, December 12 (QNA) - Saudi Arabia advanced to the semi-finals of the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025 after defeating Palestine 2-1 in extra time at Lusail Stadium.

Firas Al Buraikan opened the scoring for Saudi Arabia from the penalty spot in the 58th minute, before Oday Dabbagh equalised for Palestine six minutes later. With the match locked at 1-1 after 90 minutes, both sides pushed through a physically intense extra-time period.

Mohammed Kanno struck the winner in the 115th minute, securing Saudi Arabia's place in the last four. Despite late pressure, Palestine were unable to level the match.

Saudi Arabia will face the winner of Thursday's quarter-final between Jordan and Iraq in the semi-finals. (QNA)
