Doha, November 07 (QNA) - Mexico defeated Ivory Coast 1-0 in their second Group F match at the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025.
Ian Olivera scored the lone goal for Mexico, securing their first three points and placing them third in the group. Ivory Coast remains at the bottom of the group with no points.
In another match, Egypt and Venezuela played to a 1-1 draw in their second Group E match.
Arcos Maitan scored for Venezuela, while Hamza Abdel Karim equalized for Egypt, who played with ten men for nearly 30 minutes after Mohamed Hamad was sent off in the 60th minute.
Egypt now lead the group with four points, ahead of Venezuela on goal difference.
North Korea and Germany also played to a 1-1 draw in Group G of the same tournament.
Wisdom Mike scored for Germany, and Han Ae-bok equalized for North Korea, bringing his team's tally to four points at the top of the group, while Germany's tally rose to two points in second place, ahead of Colombia (third) on goal difference. (QNA)
