Gaza Toll Rises to 70,103 Killed, 170,985 Injured
Gaza, November 30 (QNA) - The casualty toll from the Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip has risen to 70,103 people killed and 170,985 injured since Oct. 7, 2023.
Medical sources in Gaza on Sunday reported that three fatalities, including two people newly killed and a third whose body was recovered from the rubble, and two injuries arrived at hospitals across the Strip over the past 48 hours.
The total number of fatalities since the last ceasefire in October has reached 356, with 908 injuries.
Furthermore, the bodies of 607 people have been recovered. However, a number of victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, with ambulance and civil defence crews currently unable to reach them.
The ceasefire agreement between the Hamas movement and the Israeli entity came into effect in October, following the Israeli withdrawal from inhabited locations and areas in the Strip, and the start of displaced persons returning to northern Gaza. This was part of the first phase of an initiative proposed by US President Donald Trump to end the war on Gaza. (QNA)
