Moscow, November 29 (QNA) - The Russian Ministry of Defense announced today that air defense systems destroyed 103 Ukrainian drones during the night hours, which targeted various areas of the country.
In a statement, the ministry explained that air defenses shot down 26 drones over the Belgorod region, 20 drones over the Rostov region, 19 drones over the airspace of Crimea, 11 drones over the Ryazan region, 11 drones over the Krasnodar Territory, and 5 drones over the Voronezh region, in addition to 4 drones over the Lipetsk region and 3 drones over the Kursk region.
The ministry added that one drone was intercepted over each of Astrakhan, Volgograd, and the Republic of Kalmykia, in addition to one drone shot down over the waters of the Sea of Azov.
During the operation, Moscow confirmed that it destroyed several pieces of equipment, including German Leopard 2 tanks, American and British armored vehicles, as well as a large number of vehicles provided by NATO countries.
Russian border regions, including Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, and Voronezh, have been experiencing almost daily attacks by Ukrainian drones and missiles.
