Berlin, November 29 (QNA) - Bayern Munich beat visiting St. Pauli 3-1 on Saturday in the 12th round of the German Bundesliga at the Allianz Arena.
St. Pauli stunned the hosts when French striker Andreas Hountondji turned home a corner.
But Rafael Guerreiro's thumping drive just before the break pulled Bayern level, and then came the chaos of stoppage time. Luis Diaz poked home in the 93rd minute. Three minutes later, substitute Nicolas Jackson, the Senegalese forward on loan from Chelsea, killed the game off with a cool finish.
The three points send Bayern clear again. They now sit on 34 points, eight ahead of RB Leipzig after Marco Rose's side were held to a goalless draw at Borussia Monchengladbach on Friday night.
Elsewhere on Saturday, Heidenheim beat Union Berlin 2-1. Hoffenheim battered Augsburg 3-0, Borussia Dortmund edged a breathless encounter with Bayer Leverkusen 2-1, and Werder Bremen shared the spoils with Koln in a 1-1 draw.
Sunday's three remaining fixtures include Hamburg hosting Stuttgart, Eintracht Frankfurt welcoming Wolfsburg, and Freiburg facing Mainz. (QNA)
