Doha, November 29 (QNA) - Al Shamal claimed the title at the inaugural U-17 Open Beach Volleyball Championship after defeating Al Sadd in straight sets, 21-18 and 21-15, in the final match on Saturday at Al Gharafa's beach courts.

Al Sadd finished second, while Qatar SC secured third place by beating Al Khor 2-1 (21-14, 19-21, 15-6) in the playoff for third and fourth.

The winning teams were honored by Mohammed Salem Al Kuwari, chairman of the beach volleyball committee and member of the Qatar Volleyball Federation board, along with committee member Mohammed Anbar Al Nasser. (QNA)
