EAA Organizes Three Sessions at WISE 12 2025 on Learners’ Rights, Youth Empowerment
Doha, November 25 (QNA) - The Education Above All (EAA) Foundation organised three sessions on the second day of the 12th edition of the World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE 12) in 2025.
The sessions focused on the right to equitable access to quality education through digital tools, the provision of basic and higher education for displaced and refugee youth, and the future of green entrepreneurship, reflecting the Foundation's commitment to human-centred, innovative learning environments that empower young people and strengthen community resilience.
The session "From Data to Dignity: Technology and the Right to Education", presented by the Educate A Child (EAC) and Protect Education in Insecurity and Conflict (PEIC) Programmes and the Innovation Development Programme at EAA Foundation, explored the role of digital technologies, AI-enabled tools, and ethical data systems in protecting learners' rights, monitoring attacks on education, and expanding access to safe and inclusive learning environments.
Participants highlighted growing partnerships between EAA Foundation, UNICEF, and UNDP to promote a data-driven approach that balances innovation with dignity, privacy, and equity in education.
The Strategy, Policy, and Research Department, in collaboration with Al Fakhoora Programme, organised the session "From Camps to Universities: Policies, Partnerships, and Pathways to Higher Education", which showcased global models enabling displaced and refugee youth, particularly women, to access higher education and transition from crisis contexts to stable learning pathways.
The session emphasised the pivotal role of higher education in restoring dignity, expanding opportunities, and building long-term resilience in communities affected by forced displacement. Discussions drew on the experiences of the International Institute of Education, the International Teachers' Association, the International Academic Forum, and the Foundation's Public Policy Observatory.
The third session, "Preparing for the Future: AI, Education, and Green Entrepreneurship for Youth", presented by the Reach Out to All (ROTA) Programme, explored the impact of digital transformation and climate-linked innovation on the future of work. It examined how AI can enhance youth economic empowerment, provide climate-sensitive solutions, and open new pathways for green entrepreneurship.
The session highlighted the importance of equipping young people with the skills and opportunities necessary to thrive in rapidly evolving labour markets and innovative economic environments.
CEO of the Economic Empowerment Sector at EAA Foundation, Mohammed Al Ansari, said the sessions reflect the essence of the Foundation's mission to integrate technology, education, and economic opportunities to protect the right to learn and empower young people. He noted that sessions such as "From Data to Dignity", "From Camps to Universities", and "Preparing for the Future" present practical solutions that enable the most vulnerable learners to access safe digital environments, transition to higher education, and move from learning to earning.
He emphasised that these discussions affirm the Foundation's conviction that human values should guide innovation, and that education remains the strongest tool to build inclusive, resilient, and future-ready communities.
Through its second-day sessions at WISE 12, EAA Foundation reaffirmed its global mission to support inclusive, innovative, and human-centred education.
By promoting digital rights, expanding higher-education pathways, and supporting climate-adaptive green entrepreneurship, the Foundation continues to enable young people, particularly the most marginalised, to access opportunities, build resilience, and shape a future full of possibilities. (QNA)
