Moscow, November 17 (QNA) - The Russian forces have taken over fresh towns, namely Gai in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Platonovka in Donetsk, and Dvorichanskoye in Kharkiv Oblast in eastern Ukraine, the Russian Defense Ministry reported in a statement Monday.
The statement added that the forces inflicted heavy casualties and material losses in the combat zones in those areas.
Noteworthy, throughout recent weeks, Russia announced that it has made major military breakthroughs in eastern Ukraine, labelling the capture of several towns as strategic.
The Ukrainian authorities haven't denied this information, which continues their demand for Western backing to halt the Russian advancement. (QNA)
