Pakistan and Jordan Talk Middle East, Stress Need for Two-State Solution
Islamabad, November 16 (QNA) - Pakistan's President Asif Ali Zardari and Jordan's King Abdullah II on Sunday discussed developments in the Middle East and ongoing efforts to achieve a just and comprehensive peace in Palestine based on the two-state solution.
Both leaders underscored the importance of all parties adhering to the stages of the Gaza ceasefire agreement and called for stronger international action to address the deteriorating humanitarian situation in the Strip.
They also warned of the dangers posed by continued attacks on Palestinians in the West Bank and violations against Islamic and Christian holy sites in occupied Jerusalem. (QNA)
