Israeli Entity Continues Attacks on Southern Lebanon
Beirut, November 15 (QNA) -The Israeli entity continued its attacks on Saturday on southern Lebanon, in a persistent violation of the ceasefire agreement.
Field sources reported that the outskirts of the town of Kfar Shuba were subjected to bursts of gunfire from an Israeli occupation military position in Rweisat Al-Alam area. Security forces also found an Israeli drone that had fallen in the town of Kfar Kila.
A ceasefire agreement in southern Lebanon came into effect on 27 November last year, stipulating withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces from villages and towns along the southern border within 60 days. Subsequently, the Beirut government agreed to extend the deadline until 18 February. However, Israeli occupation forces remained at five locations and continue to violate the agreement, recording over 7,000 aerial violations and more than 2,400 military activities in the area of UNIFIL operations in southern Lebanon since last November.
