According to a report published in Moscow on Thursday, payments from EU countries to Russia continued from Hungary, Slovakia, France, Belgium, and Romania.

Hungary topped the list of importers with EURO 258 million, including EURO 83 million for oil and EURO 175 million for pipeline gas.

Slovakia came in second with a total of EURO 210 million, comprising EURO 162 million for oil and EURO 48 million for gas. Natural gas, which is not subject to EU sanctions, accounted for two-thirds of the total imports, delivered primarily via pipelines or as LNG.

France ranked third, importing EURO 209 million worth of liquefied natural gas (LNG), while Belgium came in fourth with EURO 158 million worth of LNG.
