Doha, October 07 (QNA) - HE Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi met on Tuesday with HE Senior Advisor to the Prime Minister of Canada on Foreign, Defense, and Security Policy Scott Gilmore, who is visiting the country.

During the meeting, they discussed cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to support and enhance them.

They also discussed the developments in the region, particularly in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories, in addition to a number of topics of common interest.

HE the Senior Advisor to the Prime Minister of Canada voiced Canada's appreciation for Qatar's key role in mediation, commending its diplomatic efforts to enhance regional and international security and stability. (QNA)
