Minister of Transport Participates in Ministerial Dialog at Maritime Cyprus Conf.

Limassol, October 06 (QNA) - HE Minister of Transport Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Thani has attended the Ministerial Shipping Dialog held during the Maritime Cyprus 2025 Conference in Limassol.
Addressing the meeting, attended by several Arab and foreign transportation and shipping ministers, His Excellency highlighted the importance of maritime routes for the global economy and said that any disarray in them reflects immediately on the stability of markets and on economic development, something that makes their security and sustainability a shared international responsibility.
Highlighting the State of Qatar's ongoing efforts to develop its maritime industry, HE the Minister of Transport said that Hamad Port has become one of the most advanced ports in the region thanks to its advanced infrastructure and growing capacity. He added that Qatar continues to cement its regional and international partnerships in order to ensure the flow of trade, safely and efficiently.
Moreover, His Excellency said that Qatar developed a national strategy for the logistic services sector to transform the country into a leading global hub in transportation and supply chains, by diversifying modes of transportation, developing the logistics zones and connecting them with sustainability goals, in line with national development goals and the Qatar Nation Vision 2030.
