Doha, October 28 (QNA) - HE Minister of Endowments of the Syrian Arab Republic Mohammad Abu Al Khair Shukri, and his accompanying delegation from the Supreme Fatwa Council, visited Tuesday the General Directorate of Endowments at the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs.
During the visit, Director-General of the General Directorate of Endowments Eng. Hassan Abdullah Al Marzouqi gave a presentation on the origins and development of endowments in Qatar, and an overview of Qatar's law on Endowments. HE the Syrian Minister of Endowments also viewed models of the key endowment projects, especially the Jabal Thuaileb Endowment Project, which is considered one of the largest endowment projects in the country.
Following the visit, the two sides held a bilateral meeting during which they discussed aspects of cooperation between the two sides in the field of endowments, ways to enhance them, and modern electronic systems in endowment management. They also discussed "digital" endowment initiative launched by the General Directorate of Endowments to keep pace with the tremendous digital and technological developments, as well as artificial intelligence, in developing institutional and community work.
