Doha, October 02 (QNA) – Qatar Duty Free (QDF) has been named Best Airport Retailer of the Year for the third year in a row at the Frontier Awards 2025 held in Cannes, France.

The retail operator at Hamad International Airport further reinforced its global leadership in airport retail with two further accolades: Best Specialty Concept – Hybrid F&B/ for Souq Al Matar and Retail Activation of the Year for its Live the Formula 1 Life campaign.

In a press release, QDF said the recognition highlights its commitment to innovation, customer experience, and redefining airport shopping standards worldwide. The award-winning Souq Al Matar was praised for showcasing Qatari heritage through locally inspired gifts, food, and crafts, creating a culturally rich and inviting shopping environment.

The Live the Formula 1 Life campaign transformed Hamad International Airport into an immersive F1-themed space featuring track-inspired displays, interactive exhibitions, photo opportunities, and exclusive merchandise, reflecting QDF's ability to merge entertainment, retail, and experiential marketing.

Commenting on the achievement, Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Officer, Eng. Badr Mohammed Al Meer, said the awards reflect QDF's continued pursuit of excellence and innovation, positioning Hamad International Airport as a global retail and dining destination.
