Minister of Justice: Qatar's Ambitious Vision Made Real Estate Sector Key Partner in Economic Development

Doha, October 13 (QNA) - HE Minister of Justice and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Ibrahim bin Ali Al Mohannadi said that the State of Qatar's ambitious vision has made the real estate sector a key partner in economic development.

This came during the visit of HE the Minister of Justice and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs to the 3rd Qatar Real Estate Forum at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC), Monday, held under the slogan "Aqarat's Future," in conjunction with Cityscape Qatar.

His Excellency added that Qatar's investment environment has become attractive thanks to the government's facilitation and its flexible and advanced laws and regulations, making the real estate sector an ideal environment for both local and international investors.

HE the Minister of Justice and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs praised the forum's organizers for their efforts hosting this event and appreciated the government pavilion's role in supporting the real estate sector by providing qualitative services and initiatives.

His Excellency highlighted the Ministry of Justice's participation in the pavilion, holding various activities and events that underline the ministry's pioneering role in supporting and developing real estate sector services.

He pointed out that the efficiency of government services, the speed of transaction completion, and digital transformation initiatives have contributed to making the Qatari real estate experience a model to be emulated.

His Excellency commended the efforts of the Ministry of Interior, the Real Estate Regulatory Authority, and the Ministry of Justice in facilitating access to real estate services, including the issuance of ownership deeds and real estate residencies.

HE the Minister of Justice and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs noted Saudi Arabia's successful real estate experience, adding that its participation in the forum as a guest of honor represents an important opportunity to enhance cooperation, exchange expertise, and build strategic partnerships, as to strengthen the Gulf real estate market's attractiveness, make it a promising destination for investors and contribute to shaping a more sustainable Gulf real estate future, with added value for national economies and income diversification plans.

During his tour of Cityscape Qatar, His Excellency was briefed on the latest products and deals offered by the participating real estate companies and developers in both the forum and exhibition.

He also listened to detailed explanations about the most prominent current and future real estate projects in Qatar and the region.

Moreover, His Excellency visited the Saudi pavilion. (QNA)
