Israeli Forces Arrest 11 Palestinians Across West Bank
Occupied Jerusalem, June 09 (QNA) - Israeli forces arrested 11 Palestinians Tuesday during raids and incursions carried out in several areas of the occupied West Bank. Meanwhile, Israeli bulldozers destroyed main and secondary water pipelines east of the town of Tammun, south of Tubas Governorate.
According to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), Israeli forces arrested a Palestinian man and his son after raiding the city of Jenin, storming their home, searching it, and ransacking its contents.
In the Bethlehem Governorate, Israeli forces arrested a Palestinian from the village of Al-Shawawra, east of the city, after raiding and searching his family's home. They also seized his private vehicle.
Israeli forces also arrested two Palestinians from the village of Rafat, west of Salfit Governorate, during a raid campaign that included a number of homes.
In the Tulkarm Governorate, Israeli forces arrested two Palestinians after raiding their homes in the city of Tulkarm and the town of Far'un, south of the governorate.
In the Nablus Governorate, Israeli forces arrested four Palestinians during raids in the Old City and several neighborhoods of Nablus, where a number of homes were searched.
In the same context, Israeli colonists set fire to a Palestinian-owned vehicle in the village of Beit Imrin, northwest of Nablus, early Tuesday, before residents managed to extinguish the fire.
In the northern Jordan Valley, Israeli bulldozers destroyed main and secondary water pipelines east of the town of Tammun, south of Tubas Governorate. The damage disrupted water supplies to several communities and farmers, causing direct harm to agricultural crops and livestock.
Local sources reported that Israeli bulldozers destroyed a main water pipeline carrying water from Al-Mi'yar Well to agricultural lands east of the town. Secondary pipelines supplying dozens of dunams of farmland were also damaged, in addition to the destruction of water meters.
The incident comes amid an escalation of Israeli measures in the northern Jordan Valley, including attacks on infrastructure and essential services relied upon by local residents for daily life and agricultural and pastoral activities.
Various areas across the West Bank are witnessing an escalation in raids, arrests and road closures, along with attacks by settlers on Palestinians and their property. (QNA)
