Doha, July 25 (QNA) - The State of Qatar welcomed the signing of the Beijing Declaration by the Palestinian factions, to end division, achieve reconciliation and enhance national unity, expressing its hope that the declaration would be implemented in a way that would contribute to unifying the national ranks to confront the war on the Gaza Strip and the Israeli violations in all of Palestine's occupied territories.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement today that signing the declaration is an important step towards unity and consolidating the national project to establish an independent Palestinian State on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem (Al-Quds) as its capital.

The ministry also affirmed the State of Qatar's support for all steps aimed at overcoming differences and ending division, as well as its aspiration for the sustainability of unity and partnership among the Palestinian brothers, expressing Qatar's great appreciation for the People's Republic of China's role in sponsoring the talks that culminated in the signing of the declaration.
