Washington, June 09 (QNA) - Director of Marketing and Communications at the Qatar Football Association (QFA), Khaled Mubarak Al Kuwari said that all preparations are set for Qatari fans to be received in San Francisco, the United States, to cheer for team Qatar during their FIFA World Cup 2026 matches.
Al Kuwari told Qatar News Agency (QNA) that the first Qatari fan delegations are set to arrive Tuesday, while the rest will follow on Wednesday and Thursday.
All hotel and transportation arrangements have been finalized to facilitate fans' experience and provide them with the best environment to support the national team, he noted.
Al Kuwari highlighted that QFA help desks were set at the delegations' hotels in order to provide them with the necessary assistance.
The Director of Marketing and Communications at QFA thanked the State of Qatar's Embassies in the United States and Canada, as well as its Consulate General in Los Angeles, for their significant support and cooperation.
He pointed out that QFA has extended an invitation to Qatari and Gulf students studying in the United States and Canada, as well as the companions of Qatari patients receiving treatment there, along with coordinating with Arab communities in San Francisco, Seattle, and Vancouver to attend Al Adaam's matches.
Al Kuwari highlighted the team work being exerted across QFA's departments to assist Qatari fans and ensure that they have an ideal World Cup experience and show the best support for Al Adaam.
Inspection visits have recently been conducted to the hotels that will host Qatar's fans and the stadiums where the national team will play their group-stage matches, he said.
The Director of Marketing and Communications at QFA concluded his remarks to QNA by underscoring that the cheering campaign will run under the slogan "All for Qatar," expressing full confidence in Qatari fans to support the national team. (QNA)
