Israeli Occupation Murders Over 72,988 Palestinians Since Beginning of Genocide on Gaza
Gaza, June 09 (QNA) - The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) murdered at least 72,988 Palestinian civilians and injured at least 173,205 others since the beginning of the genocide that the Israeli occupation has been committing against the Gaza Strip in October 2023.
Medical sources in the Gaza Strip said on Tuesday that hospitals across the Strip received eight Palestinian martyrs and 34 injured others over the past 24 hours.
The sources indicated that many of the victims remain under the rubble and scattered on the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews are still unable to reach them.
Since the "ceasefire" agreement went into effect in October 2025, the IOF murdered at least 978 Palestinians, and injured at least 3,097 others, while 782 bodies were pulled out from under the rubble.
The Israeli occupation forces continue to violate the ceasefire agreement by carrying out air and artillery bombardments and intensive gunfire in various areas of the Gaza Strip, at a time when the humanitarian situation is worsening as a result of the continued siege, the destruction of infrastructure and the disruption of basic services in large parts of the Strip.
