Doha, May 24 (QNA) - Qatar University's (QU) Early Childhood Center (ECC), part of QU's College of Education, celebrated the graduation of a new cohort of kindergarten students for the 2026 academic year under the theme "Our Success Story," marking an important milestone as the children prepare to transition to first grade next academic year.

The ceremony celebrated the graduation of 40 children in an occasion that highlighted the importance of early childhood as a foundation for shaping children's personalities and developing their diverse skills. The children presented a variety of performances reflecting the skills and experiences they gained throughout the academic year, demonstrating their growth across different developmental areas.

On this occasion, ECC Director, Prof. Diala Abdul Hadi Hamaidi stated: "At the Early Childhood Center, teachers are committed to implementing best educational practices within a learning environment that upholds the highest standards of safety, security, and educational quality. In building on the Early Childhood Center's position as a hub of expertise, the Center opened its doors this year to a number of guests and educational experts.

It welcomed more than 25 visitors from different countries around the world during the International Congress for School Effectiveness and Improvement to explore the educational practices implemented at the Center. In addition, the Center hosted a delegation of kindergarten directors from Kazakhstan for the exchange of professional expertise and to learn more about the Center's academic and educational experience, which aligns with the mission and vision of Qatar University in supporting human development and nurturing a conscious and creative generation capable of contributing to the future of the nation."

ECC Assistant Director, Amna Al Megheseeb said: "This special moment reflects the outcomes of dedication, collaboration, and care.

It represents a journey filled with learning, discovery, and meaningful moments that contributed to shaping our children's growth and achievements. Our dear children, today marks the beginning of a bright new chapter, and we wish you continued success and confidence as you move forward toward the future."

Through the center, QU continues its efforts to provide an integrated educational environment that promotes early learning and supports the development of future generations capable of continuing their educational journeys with confidence and competence, in alignment with national development priorities and Qatar National Vision 2030.
