Makkah Al Mukarramah, May 24 (QNA) - The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs (Awqaf) has launched the "Al-Mutawef" pilgrimage guide service via WhatsApp on the number (55592080), as an integrated digital assistant powered by artificial intelligence technologies.

The service represents a paradigm shift in the path of digital services designed to be the unified digital assistant for pilgrims of the State of Qatar via WhatsApp.

It offers interactive services around the clock, starting from the phase of inquiry and registration to tracking requests until reaching onsite support, as well as guidance while pilgrims perform rites.

In addition, the application provides a broad synthesis of information and guidance services that help pilgrims access up-to-date information about the approved pilgrimage operators, alongside contact data for each pilgrimage campaign.

The service broadly offers detailed information about the licensed Umrah offices, and the signature sites associated with Hajj, including the Holy Sites, utilities, and guidance points, in addition to instructions related to registration and the performance of Hajj and Umrah rites.

The application literally depends on an advanced smart support system that provides pilgrims with the opportunity to ask questions via WhatsApp both in Arabic and English, as the system unpacks the question and relays a consistent answer interactively and in a timely manner.

This service obviously covers a variety of key aspects related to pilgrimage such as admission conditions, steps and methods of registration, as well as payments and follow-up on the status of requests.

It likewise covers public inquiries, thereby helping reduce pressure on traditional support and communication channels, elevating rapid response, in addition to providing a feature of transferring users-when needed-to customer service operators to provide support in terms of more specified transactions such as cancellation services and so forth.

Generally, this service provides Qatar's pilgrims with the possibility of tracking their requests for Hajj directly, as they can inquire about the status of these requests, review their financial and administrative details, and track the associated procedures.

This move conspicuously ensures transparency, expedites request processing, and achieves a more efficient and flexible experience for pilgrims through full integration between smart responses and direct support.

Overall, this service offers smart guidance services that vividly help pilgrims of Qatar identify their locations and arrive at multiple destinations inside the Holy Sites in the tents at Mina and Arafat through pinpointing the closest utility points, as well as providing the appropriate navigation tracks.

These services virtually contribute to promoting Qatar's pilgrims' comfort, especially should they need to instantly arrive at a certain location, thereby underpinning the field pilgrimage experience and reducing the challenges when it comes to random navigation.

This easy-to-browse app is more relevant and helps accelerate access to approved campaign services and information, offering prompt interactive responses and support around the clock.

In essence, this application is part of the strategy of Qatar's Awqaf 2025-2030, in terms of digital transformation and advancing smart services that virtually aim to leverage cutting-edge technologies and digital solutions for the service of a wide diversity of society members, as well as foster the quality of provided services and enhance the level of beneficiary satisfaction.

This trend obviously underscores Awqaf's pivot toward innovative digital solutions and capitalizing on AI-powered technologies in optimizing the country's pilgrims' experience so as to provide more efficient, flexible, and rapid services.

This trend literally keeps up with global technological advancements and enhances the service system provided to the pilgrims of the State of Qatar.

It is a paradigm shift in the track of e-services Awqaf is offering through a smart assistant that combines information with support and guidance via WhatsApp, enabling pilgrims to perform rituals in an environment where technology is ubiquitous and ultimately meet their needs in every single stage of this fifth Islamic pillar.
